§ 15.08.040. Sanitary sewer connection required.

  • (a)

    No building or occupancy permit shall be issued for any reconstruction, remodel, or use of a structure or premises unless it its wastewater facilities are properly connected to the city sanitary sewer system.

    (b)

    No person shall use or occupy any existing building within the city, except a garage or storage building when used exclusively for those purposes, unless such building has therein sanitary wastewater facilities connected to the city sanitary sewer system, provided the requirement to connect to the city sanitary sewer shall not apply if no city sanitary sewer main exists within 50 feet of the property line or within 200 feet of the building.

    (c)

    Connection to the city sanitary sewer shall be accomplished per CMC 15.08.022.
