§ 15.04.100. Right of entry.

As a condition of receiving sewer service, the director shall have immediate access between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Sunday to all buildings or premises served by the POTW for the purpose of inspecting pumps, pipes and to ensure compliance with this chapter.

(1)

The director shall have the right to place equipment and devices on property receiving sewer service to conduct sampling, compliance monitoring, and/or metering of a user's operations.

(2)

Except for good cause made known to the director, access to all parts of the building and premises shall be allowed.

(3)

Any temporary or permanent obstruction prohibiting access and inspection of the building or premises shall be promptly removed at the request of the director. The costs of such removal shall be the responsibility of the user.

(4)

Unreasonable delays or failure to allow the director as authorized under this chapter shall be grounds for termination or suspension of wastewater treatment services, to include enforcement actions as authorized by this chapter.
