§ 11.60.011. Planting strip—Definition.

The definition of "planting strip" as it appears in RCW 46.90.154 is excluded from the Model Traffic ordinance as adopted by the city, and "planting strip" shall after the effective date of the ordinance codified in this section mean: that area between a raised curb extending above the surface of the street and any hard surface sidewalk approximately parallel to the curb and not more than 12 feet distant from the curb, except such area as is covered with hard surface paving of asphalt or concrete.
